Water Feature

A variation on “Water Feature” has been accepted by Contemporary Haibun Online, and should appear sometime in October 2012.

Sally McBride, my Mom, died on August 19, 2009. Blessings to the memory of my Mom.

“Water Feature” is my August 19th poem for the postcard poetry project. I used a contemporary card view titled “North Cascades Washington.” The view is of Rainy Lake, waterfall, and Frisco Mountain. I mailed the card to Mary of Oakland, California.

Blessings to Mary and all, Andy

  1. Lovely and heartbreaking. Peace to your mother, and to you, comfort.
