The Quotidian, June 21, 2011 ~ “The small truth has words that are clear…”

“The small truth has words that are clear; the great truth has great silence.” ~ Rabindranath Tagore (May 7, 1861 to August 7, 1941)

Bengali poet, novelist and artist. He was the first non-European to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature (1913).

Today’s installment in my “Did You Know?” feature:

Did you know that Rabindranath Tagore penned TWO national anthems? He penned the national anthems of India and Bangladesh.
