Electrician (sample tanka and cinquain)

Tanka:

an electrician / resists shadows / with light and ohms /and always seeks / enlightenment

Cinquain:

seeking / enlightenment / an electrician fights / short circuits and shadows with ohms / and light

Notes: a tanka is a five line poem of usually 31 or less syllables. A cinquain is a five line poem with a 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 – 2 syllable structure.
