NaPoWriMo ~ Day Three Prompt

Write an epistolary poem. An epistolary poem is in the form of a letter.

You may write an epistolary poem to a person, to an object, or to just about anything.

You might start with “Dear __________.” Fill in the blank, and get started!

In recent years, I’ve written epistolary poems to my Mom, and others to cobalt blue glassware objects in my life.

Here’s an idea of the emotional riches available in writing epistolary poems: cobalt blue was Mom’s favorite color. She especially liked cobalt blue glassware.
