It has been a good year for me as a writer, editor, and blogger.
In particular, I’d like to mention NaPoWriMo 2012, NaHaiWriMo, the postcard poetry challenge in August 2012, and PaPoWriMo 2012 with the poet Jennifer Bullis in the fall. Oh, and I’ve been working on my collection of linked short stories since November;
I believe I’ve made excellent progress on this project.
In 2012, I ramped up my output. Most importantly, I ramped up the quality of my output!
Thank you to all of my readers and followers. I’m so grateful that you are visiting my blog, and reading–and commenting on–my posts.
I especially want to thank my “five most active commenters”–Jennifer Bullis, tsena, sonofwalt, Jilanne Hoffman, and Lisa Stillman. Deep bow to each of you!
Finally, I’d like to thank WordPress for its fine blogging platform and for its ease of use.
I am very grateful to WordPress, too!
Please read the highlights below!
Blessings to you and yours, Andy
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,600 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.
Congratulations on a good year, and best wishes in the new one, Andrew! I always like it when I make the top five in something! And among such lovely company too! 🙂
Hi sonofwalt,
Thank you very much! Indeed, I agree.
I really appreciate all of your comments and feedback on my poems and posts.
Happy New Year–2013! Have a great one!
Sincerely, Andy
