I am very pleased to note that two of my senryu appear in Issue #9! Here is one of the two:
in all seasons–
the tailor
suits himself
On a sad note, this is Editor Liam Wilkinson’s last issue of Prune Juice. Read his farewell on the third page of the issue. I’d like to thank Liam Wilkinson for selecting and publishing several of my poems over the past couple of years.
Curtis Dunlap is the new Editor of Prune Juice. He writes the popular blog Blogging Along Tobacco Road. Read his blog here. I’d like to wish Curtis Dunlap well!
Best wishes to all!
Sincerely, Andy
Ah, nice senryu. Thanks for the link. I will be sure to check it out.

Carolyn
CAROLYN!
Thank you very much. Yes, I’m still writing funny short poems (well, trying to-anyway)!
How is YOUR writing coming along? Will that new house of yours have a WRITING ROOM for YOU?
With warm regards, Andy
Congratulations on have 2 more poems published! I especially like the one about the tailor.
Lisa
Lisa, thank you very much–you’re always so sweet.
The senryu about the tailor makes me laugh!
Blessings to you and yours, Andy
Congratulations, Andy! What a delightful journal–I started reading and didn’t stop until I got to the end. I especially enjoyed the imaginary interview with R. H. Blythe, from which I learned a lot about senryu vs. haiku. And your two: perfectly suited to fire and chill–very nicely done!
Hi Jennifer, thank you very much!
I thought the interview with R. H. Blythe was clever.
Thank you for your kind comment on my poems. I’m still writing *funny* poems! (Well, I hope that they are somewhat funny!)
Blessings to you and yours, Andy
