The Quotidian, December 5, 2010 ~ Enjoy Yourself

“Enjoy yourself – it’s later than you think.” ~ Socrates (circa 469 BC to 399 BC)

Socrates was an Athenian Greek in classical antiquity. Much of what we know about him survives in the writings of his student Plato. According to Wikipedia, he is “credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy.”

I want to add that this quote is so true. I just had a scare and a four day stay in the hospital starting in the ER. Turns out my excruciating pain was from a kidney stone and a slightly damaged, leaking kidney. I was discharged after a successful surgery. Oh, me? Yes, I’m making some changes!
