“Honeymoon Salad” ~ from Dad’s Recipes

“* Honeymoon Salad

No dressing, just lettuce alone.”

Unattributed.

This is from Dad’s collection of recipes, page 32. He collected his recipes in a large, oversized “Single Entry Ledger.”

We can get a sense of Dad’s sense of humor from this entry. He was a funny and very smart man. He enjoyed wordplay and puns.

  2. Carolyn, LOL!

As a man with two ex-wives, I’m here to say (write) that honeymoon salad is one of the highlights of my short-lasting marriages.
