The Quotidian, September 27, 2010 ~ Creating Yourself

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” ~ George Bernard Shaw (July 26, 1856 to November 2, 1950)

Shaw was an Irish playwright and author. According to Wikipedia, he was the “only person to have been awarded a Nobel Prize for Literature (1925) (for contributions to literature) and an Oscar (1938) (for work on the film ‘Pygmalion’, based on his play).” Shaw was a Socialist.

Did you know? feature: Did you know that Shaw was co-founder of the London School of Economics?
