Please help me be at peace so that I may work for peace on behalf of all peoples.
May all peoples resume their original dreams, dream new dreams, and may all peoples recognize these dreams as subdreams of our Earth.
Who am I to say that our Earth isn’t aware and doesn’t dream too?
Note: this is a variation on a peace prayer I say on days I visit the estuary and the Peace Prayer Pole here in Bellingham.
Why “peoples“? “Why not all people“? I believe in my mind and my heart that we humans comprise one race – the human race. Yet, when we discuss prospects for peace we may refer to – for example – the Jewish People and the Palestinian People.
My wish for you is that you be at peace and do what you can in working for peace on behalf of all peoples.
